Mass Effect 2: Overlord

BioWare return with new content for one of their most successful titles.

Great side quest with one of the strongest endings I've seen to any Mass Effect mission (including the main ones). Hammerhead vehicle is used very well, and actually provides the game with some platforming segments. This DLC has some of the most...

Some more character interaction would have been nice. Mass Effect is starting to lose its magic by not using all of the great characters and locations they've created

Mass Effect 2: Overlord Review

I hope you've hung onto your copy of Mass Effect 2. After a series of middle of the road downloadable add-ons, BioWare has finally hit on something that is sure to please most everybody. Like many downloads priced at 560 Microsoft points, Overlord a...

The whole package is quite fantastic, but again I have to remind you that it is a bit short. My playthrough clocked in at somewhere around one or two hours. All it took was one easy afternoon and I'd had my fill and earned 15 of the 25 new achievement...

Mass Effect 2: Kasumi's Stolen Memory

This latest DLC for Mass Effect 2 continues the story nicely, but fans might have hoped for something with a bit more substance.

Very cool setting. Some great lighting and artwork. Kasumi is a great piece of...design. More Mass Effect 2, which is no bad thing

Not as creative as the mission could have been. New crew member and mission villain are cool in concept but lack depth. No interaction with other crew members. Second half of the mission is like every other Mass Effect 2 mission but with so-so level...

Nice additional content.

Mass Effect 2 Review (Xbox 360)

Somebody's Uncle once said, “with great power comes great responsibility”, that's how I feel about Mass Effect 2, not the epic story of Commander Shepard you understand, but having to write the review. To be honest the long awaited release has come and...

Bring on part three Bioware, I will have had at least another run through by then and my crew will be ready.

Mass Effect 2

Every now and then there is a game that comes in the mail that I know is going to be good. From the moment I boot up the console and watch through the credits I know that this is a game that will dominate my next few days or weeks until I finish it. It...

The combat, story and characterization is superb. The final concluding level is an amazing piece of gaming design and game play action

The odd animation glitch or lag, the cover and sprint button mapping, loading screen after dying is about it

Its a triumph! A solid 6 out of 5 game!!

Mass Effect 2

Our review of the Xbox 360 version.

Basically this is Mass Effect but with the next chapter of the epic story and every gameplay mechanic refined or tuned in one way or another. There's still the odd thing that could be done to tweak things even further but we're really talking about...

Mass Effect 2

It must have been incredibly difficult for BioWare to create something approximating the success of the original Mass Effect, yet with this sequel it's clear they're on the right track towards creating one of the best videogame trilogies of all time.

Another fantastic story where your decisions matter. The option to bring along a save game from the first game that will alter the universe you play. A very personal experience. Far improved shooting and cover mechanics make combat fun. Very cool...

A lot of long loading screens. Instead of improving planet exploration, it has been removed taking away some of the previous games wonder. The scanning for minerals system is tedious, yet essential if you want to succeed in the final mission. No more...

A worthy sequel.
