Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception PS3 Review

Ask any programmer or designer from Naughty Dog and they'll agree that trying to replicate perfection is far from easy. You have to get everything right, from the smallest nuances to the biggest aspects. And you have to strike gold a second time,...

The most beautiful game ever ; A great story ; Incredible voice-acting ; Deep, addictive multiplayer ; Tight gameplay ; Reinvents the word "exciting ; The best plot twist of the last few years

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

The Uncharted series has become one of the most successful new IPs of this generation, providing a genuinely gripping narrative, incredible action and some of the best script and voice work in the medium. But can the third title in the series, Drake's...

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception (Playstation 3) Review

Heading back to the land of the uncharted, Drake's Deception looks to recreate the winning formula of its predecessors.

Clever level design ; Excellent lighting and dynamic enviroments ; Another interesting expedition with quick-witted writing and great characterization ; Brilliant sound design ; Some memorable “set-piece” moments

Even chalked full of surprises Uncharted 3 still feels predictable ; Clumsy Drake, why so wobbly ; Combat feels unnatural-- could be tightened up ; Graphics aren't as impressive

Uncharted's third engagement into the uncharted leaves another lasting impression. Although slightly underachieving in its innovation, Drake's magnetic pull for trouble provides another memorable adventure. Playstation 3 owners, Drake is still your go...

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Review: PS3's Action-Adventure Treasure

Nathan Drake, star of 2009's Game of the Year, returns to the PS3 with a brand new adventure. But is Uncharted 3 the better of the two to get lost in?

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception plays out like a lot of Nathan Drake's discoveries: someone has already been there before him. In the case of this game, that someone is Uncharted 2. Gamers who experienced Nate's extraordinary journey to find Shangri-La...

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception- PS3

Nathan Drake, the man with the strongest fingertips in gaming, returns to close out his debut trilogy in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Developer Naughty Dog has thrown in everything save the kitchen sink: foot chases, car chases, scenes on...

Naughty Dog has wrapped up the Uncharted trilogy in a nice box and bow, just in time for the holidays. The story has all of the off-the-wall antics of an Indiana Jones movie, with a group of characters who make the outlandishness of the plot easy to...

Varied, beautiful locales ; Fantastic score ; Improved melee combat ; Characters, story and voicing are top notch

Aiming/shooting sluggish ; Fewer and shorter puzzles

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

Let's get this out of the way, there are some slight issues, like the camera sometimes going off on its own and getting stuck behind walls; but all that seems like a non issue when taking into account just how fantastic Uncharted 3's presentation is.

While it's just fantastic, and one of the greatest melee combat systems I have ever seen, you can just spam the Triangle button and you'll never get hit. When an enemy goes for a swing, you can press triangle and dodge it - but you can mash Triangle...
